Inimitable childhood

💓💓💓
What a days were they
When I had ample of time to play.
There were lot of friends around
With whom every evening I used to run towards the playground

No tensions, no worries,
Our every story used to have fairies
We used to fight but at the end of the day everything used to turn alright
Every morning we used to peep out of the window
Just to see the cute little chirping sparrow

School was our second home
And we weren’t aware of anything on Google chrome
Whenever I think of those days
I wished it should have never passed away
So cute so innocent we were,
A little high pitch tone used to make us shiver

Brushing our teeth twice a day was a real big headache,
But we used to never forget to have our favorite milkshake
Every morning mom used to run behind us with a cup of milk,
Passing every exam was like getting yummy Cadbury silk.

Breaking of tooth was such a pain,
But riding paper boat during rainy season was our favorite game,
‘Twinkle twinkle little star’ was our favorite song,
That we used to sing all the way long

‘Batman’ was our all time favorite hero
And every weekend we used to wake up early to watch his show
‘Tom and Jerry’ was our favorite cartoon
And every night we made a wish by looking at the moon.

Pink for girls, and blue for guys
Our birthdays were always full of surprise
So cute so innocent we used to look
And our favorite hobby was to color every book
Eating chocolates, ice cream were our favorite pastime

Robbing pencil, eraser was like a biggest crime
We made the entire house a big mess
And our poor mum used to resemble like ‘A Damsel in Distress’

Awwwhhh…what a days were they
Some things never last all the way
Today I’m sitting besides the window with a bowl of French fries
And rejoicing my childhood memories that spots before my eyes
I wished it had never passed away
And stayed with me till my last day
