Why only She?

Why only she…???

 No one ever points a finger on he
The only person answerable is always she
People say we follow gender equality
But still there is a difference between he and she.  

She is a sister, wife and mother and she is a daughter
But for people how does it matter  
In today’s world she has excelled in almost every field
But she lacked love and respect which she deserved to yield 

She aspires to become something in her life
But at the end of the day she is labelled and tagged as somebody’s wife
Even she has got her own dream
But at the end of the day it all melts away like an ice cream 

She is the one to suffer day and night like a bee
And that is a reason she keeps on asking “Why only she”???
Right from childhood she goes through lot of struggle
And the people around her just giggle

There is no one to support her
And that’s the reason nobody sees her rolling tear
Sometimes she curses herself for being she
After all society has given all the privileges only to he 

There is no one to see her efforts
But there is a huge crowd gathered just to comment on her skirts

He can move around with all the freedom
But she is always tied with boredom
Poor she suffers a lot
But she is the one who has her family on her every thought

 

Still she moves ahead with a smile
Though she has not got a lavishing lifestyle  
In spite of all this, there is a glow on her face
That makes every man to bow down his head in disgrace    

How difficult the situation may be
She drinks it away like a cup of tea
She melts like a candle
But protects her family from every hassle
She is a real born hero
And has got various color within her like a rainbow
 

All she needs is love and care
And for that she can go anywhere
Still the question remains the same
But I’m surprised with the answer she came
“Why Only She” ??? Because she deserves to be
She deserves to be best than the rest
She deserves to be cared and not compared
She is the one who shines like a bright sun
